Lizzi is a HOPWOOD AWARD WINNER IN SCREENWRITING for her feature length script TAXI GIRL.
She studied screenwriting with Academy Award winning screenwriter John Briley (Gandhi) & University of Michigan Screenwriting Program Coordinator Jim Burnstein (Love & Honor, Renaissance Man).
VIDEO PRODUCTION: Lizzi wrote, directed and co-edited The Shower, a 4-minute video that was screened at the Michigan Theater in 2006.
FILM THEORY: Lizzi’s Doctoral Dissertation, Domestic Horrors: Family Values & the Intruder Film, examines a series of “person from Hell” movies popular during 1980’s & ’90’s in the context of Family Values discourse of the Reagan-Bush era.
